  • Larger Rotors: As mentioned, larger rotors help dissipate heat more effectively. This is why aggressive trail riders and those tackling long descents often opt for 180mm or 200mm+ rotors.
  • Sintered Brake Pads: Metallic or sintered pads handle heat better than organic pads, making them ideal for trail and downhill riders who frequently push their brakes to the limit.
  • Ventilated Rotors: Some high-end brake rotors feature additional cooling fins or other designs to promote better airflow, keeping the braking system cooler during intense riding.
