Mangrove Restoration
Coastal Kenya & Tanzania are highly underdeveloped. These communities depend on their mangrove ecosystems for employment, livelihood, and nutrition. In recent decades, these coastal areas have been urbanized at unprecedented rates and mangrove forests converted into other land use. Coupled with lack of effective governance, mangroves have been overexploited and overharvested. In restoring these communities, which are rich in biodiversity, we are reviving fishing grounds that help to create additional income streams.

Terrestrial Restoration
Longleaf pine forests, iconic to the southern U.S., are essential to Florida’s ecological health and resilience. At Withlacoochee State Forest, this project restores a fire-tolerant, drought-resistant ecosystem vital for biodiversity and water quality. By reviving these resilient pines, we enhance carbon storage, protect the Withlacoochee River watershed, a key water source for eight counties, and create habitats for endangered species. Your support helps secure Florida’s natural legacy and climate resilience.

Post Wildfire Restoration
The 2013 Rim Fire scorched over 250,000 acres of Sierra Nevada forest, leaving a lasting impact on local ecosystems. A multi-year restoration effort is underway to restore native forest cover, improve water quality, and provide vital habitat for wildlife. By planting a diverse range of tree species, the project aims to reduce wildfire risks, promote healthy fire cycles, and prevent the landscape from being overtaken by shrubs. This restoration will enhance carbon sequestration, support biodiversity, and ensure a resilient, thriving forest for generations to come.

For every bike we sell, we plant one tree through our partnership with veritree. This initiative helps combat climate change, restore ecosystems, and create a more sustainable future for our planet while offsetting the environmental impact of our production processes.
We partnered with veritree because of their transparent, blockchain-based tracking system that allows us to verify every tree planted. Their technology ensures accountability and provides customers with the ability to track the exact location and impact of trees planted through their purchases.
Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, helping to combat climate change. They also prevent soil erosion, create habitats for wildlife, protect watersheds, and improve air quality. By planting trees, we're helping to restore ecosystems and biodiversity in areas affected by deforestation.
For every bike purchased, we commit to planting one tree through our partnership with veritree.
After your purchase, you'll receive a unique tracking code that allows you to monitor your trees through veritree's digital platform. You can see the exact location of your trees, their species, and watch their progress over time.
veritree works with local planting partners in various regions around the world that need reforestation the most. Current planting sites include locations in Madagascar, Kenya, Indonesia, Haiti, and North America. The specific planting locations are selected based on ecological need and community impact.
No, we've integrated the cost of planting trees into our business model without increasing prices. We believe sustainability should be accessible to everyone, and we're committed to making eco-friendly choices without passing additional costs to our customers.
