Description

MORE RANGE, MORE TRAVEL, MORE CAPABLE.

The Bosch-Powered Alpine Trail E features a massive 750Wh battery and class-leading Performance Line CX motor with 85nm of torque. Thanks to the highly detailed forgings and alloy tubes, the battery and motor are mounted as low and central as possible. Combined with 10mm extra rear travel and updated geometry, this is the most capable Alpine Trail yet!

HAVE IT YOUR WAY

Experience ultimate adjustment with a flip chip to alter the chainstay length and bottom bracket height, and an angle-adjust headset to fine-tune your head angle by + or - 0.75 degrees. With 6 unique geometry options, you can dial in your perfect ride to be more playful or a stable race weapon.

ALL NEW MULTITRAC 2 LT

The move to a HORST LINK design moves from seatstay pivots to chainstay pivots, unlocking superior suspension performance over 160mm of travel. The MultiTrac 2 LT platform reduces anti-rise, allowing for better chassis control while braking, more mid-stroke support, and a better feel at the bottom out, allowing you to get the most out of the geometry and frame updates.

INDUSTRY REVIEWS

BOSCH!

Experience effortless power with the Bosch Performance Line CX system, boasting 85Nm of torque for tackling the toughest climbs. The integrated 750Wh PowerTube battery delivers extended range for all-day adventures. Choose your power and mode easily with either the wireless remote or the convenient top tube button.

FOX PERFORMANCE ELITE

Experience factory-level performance without the extra cost of Kashima. The burly Fox 38 delivers the stiffness and control required for E-MTB's, while the DHX2 coil shock offers superior small-bump sensitivity and consistent, plush performance.

TRP DH-R EVO BRAKE

Developed for the extreme demands of DH racing, TRP DH-R EVO brakes are perfectly suited to handle the extra weight and speed of E-MTB's. Their powerful 4-piston calipers with large 203mm rotors provide superior heat management control on steep descents.

TUBELESS AND CUSCHORE!

Vee Tire Co Attack HPL tires offer exceptional grip, puncture protection, and value rivaling premium brands. Better yet, the wheels come pre-installed with CushCore rim inserts – a must-have for eMTBs. CushCore protects your rims, reduces flats, and allows lower tire pressures for extra grip without sacrificing support in the corners.

SHIMANO XT/SLX DRIVETRAIN

Shimano XT/SLX drivetrain with 160mm e*thirteen cranks delivers smooth, powerful shifting and efficient pedalling. The shorter 160mm cranks reduce pedal strikes on challenging climbs, letting you focus on conquering the trail. The XT rear derailleur and E-Bike specific chain offers exceptional performance even under the strain of the e-motor, while the SLX shifter and hyperglide+ cassette ensure quick, precise gear changes.

Assembly

Your bike needs minor assembly before riding; use the tools and videos included.

As a guide, it'll take 10-40min depending on whether you're an experienced bike assembler or have little to no mechanical experience.

Side Note: Your cables will stretch during the initial bed-in period and must be adjusted by an experienced mechanic around 150km of riding.

LOVE this bike!!

Have had this bike now for about 6 months and I absolutely love it!! It climbs anything, regularly slopes I can’t walk up, I ride up, suspension is great and love the Shimano ep801 with all the updates since I bought it. I ride mainly trails, but also bike park and it handles it all beautifully. Favourite part though is exploring, see a trail, go have a look! Never worried about not being able to find my way home… eventually! I have been riding full suspension bikes for about 15 years, but regular injuries have kept me more off than on in recent times. Since I got this bike I ride 3-5 days a week and am loving it. Totally worth the investment.

Shred sled

Beast of a bike that loves the rough stuff and a fantastic sales experience! Highly recommend. Staff went above and beyond to make the magic happen. Advice was spot on, bike was well packaged, assembly was easy, construction and specs are high quality, amazing value for money! Power on tap up the hills and super planted whilst bombing down. The bike and I aren’t exactly feather weights but the geometry, mullet wheels and suspension setup make it surprisingly playful. The Alpine trail E2 is way more capable than me at the moment but jeez I’m having fun exploring both of our limits.

No Regrets! Its a beast.

To provide some background, my hair is grey and I am in my 14th year of MTB, this is now my 7th bike. I am not usually compelled to write reviews, but this bike is worthy. I do have a super light (which I love) but my mates ruined my weekend experience when they purchased full power, with them having twice the Bosch power I simply couldn't keep up, so this puppy required a solution. Reviews on You Tube backed in the Marin Alpine Trail E2 so took the punt and NO REGRETS, THIS THING IS A BEAST. Green, blue or black it shredded. One mate took it for a test ride and confessed to liking the suspension setup more than their own. Except my Marin was half the price, looks meaner and in my mind performs better (I dictated the line, not the bike). To understand range we ride hard (Turbo) for 2.5 hours, travel around 28km with 1000m of ascent and I still had battery in reserve. So the 630 battery ideal (I did have concerns as the boys carry 750). Finally the lads were chasing me :) so no real difference in the Shimano V Bosch. Thanks to Bikes Online as you were a pleasure to deal with. So so glad I took the punt, which really wasn't a risk at all with the return policy, they must have known I would be sold after the first expression session.
